Canobie lake has been special to our family for quite a long time, so we try to make it up at least once per summer. Admission can get expensive- but there are ways around it. Moms were free on Mother’s Day (that’s when we went!) and Dads will be free on Father’s Day. Going before or after their busy season results in cheaper admission too. They’ve added a large water park this summer that will open mid-June. We can’t wait to come back to see it!

We had a great time at the Franklin Park Zoo! They were running a super hero event, but it was mostly just like any other day at the zoo. What’s great about Franklin Park is that they have several playground areas through the Zoo to let the kids stop and burn off some energy. Admission is a little pricey, so it’s a great time to use library passes and discounts. Our family of four (plus the baby) got in for a total of $12 with our discount!
